I’m Cameron Sabina Verdier, born on June 8, 1979, at Lansing General Hospital in Michigan. My own entry into the world was a quiet one, with my mother navigating childbirth alone while my father waited in the waiting room—a common practice of the time.

My journey into birth photography began with a profound and emotional experience. After photographing my first birth, I turned to the doula with tears in my eyes and said, “I love birth.” While my passion was genuine, I was still learning about the depths of this profound experience. Now, as a mother with 23 years of experience, I have a deeper understanding of the promises and intimacy of motherhood. My life experiences have only enriched my work, allowing me to capture the essence of these moments with greater sensitivity and detail.

I am dedicated to preserving the fleeting moments of your child's earliest hours—the way their tiny toes looked just 20 minutes old, the subtle details of the room, or the way your partner’s eyes lit up upon meeting your newborn. If you need someone to capture these precious details or simply to hold your hand as you embrace your new role as “Mom,” I am here to support you and make those moments unforgettable.

My Approach

Let’s mix things up and embrace real life! Imagine a day at home where the kids are half-dressed, dancing to the tunes on the record player, and every moment is filled with joy and chaos. Picture the laughter, the little squabbles, the stories, and the snuggles—all without any distractions. It’s about giving your kids your undivided attention and capturing the essence of your everyday life, messy and beautiful. Let’s make memories that are as genuine and lively as your family’s unique rhythm!
